As a subsidiary company of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, ISTAÇ, which started to operate Turkey's first sanitary landfill in 1994, provides services in the field of waste and environmental management in order to bequeath livable cities to future generations.
ISTAÇ aims to prevent the environmental damage caused by waste production, which has accelerated with the increase in population and the amount of individual waste, as much as possible, to protect nature by reducing the use of limited natural resources and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from waste;
